2017 – Acquired Ideal Hose & Arnold Hose, renamed Hydraquip Metal Hose Division to Hydraquip Metal And PTFE Hose Division
2019 – From 2010, Hydraquip Metal & Hose PTFE Division has seen continued growth with plus £3.5M turnover expected in 2019
2019 – New LPG Hose venture planned for Sept 19 with anticipated additional sales of 1 million within 12 months
Story
In 2010 the opportunity arose for Hydraquip to expand its product range through the opening of the Metal Hose Division in Bolton. From buildings, infrastructure, staff and stock, I worked with Duncan to create a strong sales strategy to secure a successful future for the business. To meet demand, stock levels were increased and investments were made into purchasing new and improved machinery. Hydraquip’s Metal Hose Division showed constant, steady growth and in 2016-17 two acquisitions were made. Ideal Hose & Safety Ltd and Arnold Hose Ltd in Northampton became a part of the Metal Hose Division with the existing teams joining the group. Again, investments were made into the buildings and stock for their customers which in turn has proven successful for the business.
