2008 – Present                     Hydraquip – Established Newcastle Branch following demise of Hiflex Fluidpower

When Hiflex Fluidpower entered administration I began looking for my next career move. I contacted Managing Director, Duncan MacBain, knowing that Hydraquip are an ambitious company. Together we developed a plan which resulted in myself and 18 other staff members from Hiflex Fluidpower joining The Hydraquip Group in September 2008. Throughout the years several acquisitions and new branches have been opened within The Hydraquip Group. My role has progressed to Regional Director and I am now responsible for 12 branches in the Midlands, North of England and Scotland.

Hydraquip are a national company offering a local service to their growing, solid customer base always looking to overcome any obstacles which may occur. Supporting this, large investments have been made into Hydraquip’s systems and processes providing customers with greater efficiency and customer service.

In 2013 Hydraquip purchased the assets for The Linden Group which consisted of 26 staff in 2 locations in Hartlepool and Newton Aycliffe. Hydraquip supported the business ensuring all of the high quality products and services were continued to their existing customers. This recipe allowed Hydraquip to hold, maintain and grow the business which is now an integral part of The Hydraquip Group.
